Elhzo, alias Demba Seye Gueye, is a jazz drummer and multi-instrumentalist from Dakar,
Senegal and now active in Europe. After years of collaboration and a renowned career as
a session musician in Italy’s most prominent cultural events, here is Yeuk Yeuk, Elhzo’s
debut record, an excursion between Jazz, Afro-Jazz and World Music.
In his concerts Elhzo plays with good musicians such as the Parisian bassist Yatékè Mamadou, the Italian guitarist Nicola Dotti, the baritone saxophonist Andrea Zucchi, the London high sax Tim Trevor Briscoe, Paolo Romagnoli keyboard and the percussionist Moussa Lo
